Im Rahmen der laufenden Netzmodernisierung wurde ein Pumpspeicherkraftwerk technisch aufgerüstet – mit minimaler Downtime und maximaler Betriebssicherheit.
The aim of the project was to completely renew the transformer technology in order to upgrade it to the 380 kV level. This was intended to increase efficiency, ensure long-term grid stability and make the plant fit for the future.
An overview of the challenges:
A complex project that demanded the highest precision while adhering to deadlines.
The exchange took place in a closely coordinated technical and logistical process.
The new transformers were integrated onto the existing foundation in a statically secure manner – without interfering with the load-bearing structure.
The old transformers were dismantled externally. This enabled a significant reduction in downtime on site.
The downstream electrical infrastructure was adapted to the 380 kV voltage level, including all protection and control components.
All steps were incorporated into circuit diagrams and operating plans at an early stage. Technical decisions were made on a sound basis, quickly and in close consultation with all partners.
The project was completed on schedule and successfully – with measurable results:
The replacement and modernisation of transformer technology in the pumped storage power plant demonstrate how technical excellence and pragmatic action work together. Even under tight deadlines and complex structural conditions, Rensys delivers stable, sustainable solutions – with a clear focus on efficiency, safety and quality.
